Questions people actually ask
- What happens if I never pay?
- You keep using Keyhold. The free tier is not a trial and it does not expire — there is no countdown, and nothing you have already created gets locked away later. The paid plans raise limits; they do not unlock the basics.
- What happens when I cancel?
- You keep your plan features until the end of the billing period you already paid for, then the account returns to Free. Locks you created above the free limit keep running; you just cannot start new ones until you are back under three.
- Do I have to pay?
- No. The free tier is the whole product with a limit of three active locks at once, and it stays that way. Plus and Premium are only for people who want more than that.
- What shows up on my statement?
- Payments are processed by Stripe, and the charge appears as KEYHOLD. We never see or store your card number. You can cancel from your account settings at any time.
- Who can sign up?
- Adults only, 18 or over. You confirm your date of birth at signup, and accounts found to belong to minors are removed.
