18 U.S.C. § 2257 Compliance Statement

All visual content appearing on or accessible through Keyhold (keyhold.app) is exempt from the record-keeping requirements of 18 U.S.C. § 2257 and 28 C.F.R. Part 75 because it does not contain depictions of actual or simulated sexually explicit conduct as those terms are defined in 18 U.S.C. § 2256(2).

Keyhold is not an adult content publishing or distribution service. The Platform provides tools for consenting adults to manage chastity arrangements: timers, permissions, task tracking, and device verification. Sexually explicit imagery is prohibited by our Terms of Service, and accounts that upload it are subject to content removal and termination.

Photos submitted for device verification or task completion are private. They are visible to the keyholder on that lock and to Keyhold moderators. A wearer may choose to share a link to one of their open verifications with people they select, who can view that photo after signing in to an account with a confirmed email address, and only while the verification remains open; the wearer can turn the link off at any time. These photos are served through short-lived expiring links rather than durable public URLs, and are not published, syndicated, indexed by search engines, or made available for download.

These images are compliance photographs of a device, not depictions of sexually explicit conduct. Users are required by our Terms to keep such photographs free of sexually explicit content.

With respect to any content uploaded by users, Keyhold acts solely as a provider of interactive computer services and as a host and transmitter of that content. Keyhold does not create, produce, direct, film, photograph, or otherwise participate in the creation of user content, and is therefore not a “producer” within the meaning of 28 C.F.R. § 75.1(c)(4).

Every user represents and warrants, as a condition of using the Platform, that they are at least 18 years of age, that all individuals appearing in any content they submit are adults, and that those individuals have consented to its submission.

If you believe content on Keyhold depicts a minor, was uploaded without the consent of a person shown in it, or otherwise violates these representations, report it immediately to [email protected]. Reports involving minors are escalated on receipt, and confirmed child sexual abuse material is preserved, reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by U.S. law, and referred to law enforcement.
